Reading Wii Fit reviews can be a mixed bag of joy and frustration. The dilemma with Wii fit reviews comes from the very nature of Wii Fit. It is not just a game, it is also an exercise program. Further, it is not just an exercise program, but hints at being almost a lifestyle. At least, that is the case for those of us who, heretofore, had not included strength training or yoga into our daily grind. So, in Wii Fit reviews from the gaming community the reviewer is naturally focused on the amusement side of things, and in most Wii Fit reviews I have read from this slant, the game sounds fun. But, in sharp contrast to a game like Mario Kart, where the reviews would end here, the Wii Fit reviews are also found on health sites and general blog sites, due in part to the Wii Fit being a bit of a phenomenon. On the health-related sites, the Wii Fit reviews get more mixed in terms of satisfaction. Personally I do not think the Wii Fit has been out quite long enough for a Wii Fit review to accurately measure the "success" factor of the game. But, as with any exercise program, the Wii Fit seems to have some short-term success (benefits to health) and at least some level of novelty that would lead to continued use (and thereby continued health benefits.) The personal sites that feature Wii Fit reviews bend more toward the exercise log type of reviews. These are actually entertaining to read in total, but, as with most logs, tend to be dry day to day. If you are searching for Wii Fit reviews and stumble on one of these exercise logs, it is best to view this in sum and not think that you will bookmark these folks and return daily to learn that they mastered a new yoga pose or lost.01 pounds that week. In that respect, these Wii Fit reviews are a little like pregnancy trackers that you see on the internet, counting down to the inevitable is really only interesting to the affected party. The last group of Wii Fit reviews you will likely find are those in the mainstream press. I mentioned that the Wii Fit is a phenomenon that transcends the gaming community, so folks like the Wall Street Journal have reviewed the game, though usually as a novelty of sorts, as though they were reviewing an electric car. (Although, not so novel anymore.) In these Wii Fit reviews you get a one-shot deal or at most a journalists perspective from spending a week on the Wii Fit balance board. As you surf the internet for Wii Fit Reviews, keep these things in mind, and you will get a better feel for who is doing the reviewing, and more importantly, whether you should take their advice. Of course, if you want my own Wii Fit Review, I think it is fantastic. But, as I mentioned, there are a ton of other Wii Fit Reviews out there. Go and check them out.
