Aren't Wii games funny? What I like the best is to fly with Mario through the galaxy on mind-bending adventures. But I can do without having to pay mind-bending prices for those adventures. Did that Wii game tag really say $50? Sure, I realize that Mario and I can collect coins on those adventures, but so far I haven't quite figured out how to spend those coins on more video games.I guess fifty usd might not be too much for a Wii game. Wii games, I admit, are by far the best out there. I can't tell you how many times I've played the Mario games, and I never get tired of them. But this recession is forcing a lot of us to tighten our belts. Luckily, I've found several ways of getting cheap Wii games.
The problem is, Nintendo "locks" their Wii consoles so that you can't play any games but theirs on them. But now there are several ways to unlock Wii consoles. Unlocking your Wii allows you to play game copies and to download free games.
Mod ChipsOriginally, the only way to unlock Wii consoles was with a modification (mod) chip. But mod chips aren't mod anymore. As a matter of fact, I think mod chips went out along with that TV show, The Mod Squad. When you install a mod chip on your console, your warranty is voided. And soldering a mod chip to your Nintendo can ruin the gaming console.
