Ps3 Makes A second Marketing Support PSP2 Rumors Come up Again - Hobbies - Games

This morning I'm catching up with a few Sony PlayStation-related items which slipped from the cracks yesterday.

First, with all the current excitement about Hulu Plus receiving a reduce and headed to Roku, I forgot to report that VUDU, the Walmart-owned streaming movie service, is coming to the Ps3 on November 23. At launch this is quite a direct port of your existing VUDU interface but December might find an update that refreshes the UI and (over the PS3 = dualshock 3 wireless controller ) adds Move support. That would seem silly in the event you do not need a Move, but that thing actually works pretty nicely to operate the PS3's XMB interface. I think it can be as slick while in the VUDU interface.

Everybody just yesterday that VUDU was an overpriced ($1,000 so you still had to pay for content) little bit of hardware that facilitated streaming movies by caching portions of them by using an internal hard disk drive. Technology and bandwidth trapped using the idea, now VUDU is really a service that operates on existing hardware (it's on, or soon might be on, the Boxee Box, too.). It will likely be interesting to view issue new partnership has any impact on what sort of PS3 is marketed in Walmart stores. To get more about this deal read the Playstation blog - playstation 3 dualshock 3 wireless controller. For many more about Vudu 2.0 (as they're calling the updated interface) read the VUDU blog entry.

Naturally the PlayStation Network (PSN) may also sell or rent you movies, but the truth is have to download them and frankly the rate on the PSN leaves something to remain desired. I can tell where buying a streaming service could offer a better experience, assuming VUDU's quality of service is nice. I'm going to test that once it receives. Just as much as I spend time my Roku Streaming Player, the PS3( ps3 dual shock 3 wireless controller) is really beginning to challenge it, with Netflix, Hulu Plus, MLB.com, NHL Gamecenter and after this VUDU. Next target for Sony could be Amazon Video-on-Demand.

Anyway, the other item I want to to discuss was another PlayStation Portable 2 leak! This time with pictures which might be reported to be of an early devkit version with the hardware. VG247 broke the storyline. If this is legit, the revolutionary device may seem to address most of the issues people had with all the original PSP - ps3 controller dualshock 3 wireless. The two analog sticks and... well truth to say, that's the single biggest issue most gamers had with all the PSP hardware at launch (yet still today). The single analog 'nub' as well as wacky UMD media, which also is very much gone within the leaked device. In addition there are the trackpad within the back from the unit that's been long rumored and an "HD screen" (though exactly that this means isn't clear).

The rumor says it is rather powerful and has twice the RAM associated with an Xbox 360 console. Again, this is all pretty vague now. We're allowed to be looking at a late 2011 release date, meaning we'd hear something official at GDC in March or possibly at E3 in June. ps3 dual shock 3 wireless controller

I like the PSP but Need to say, the era of dedicated handheld gaming devices could be behind us. Nintendo might do Comfortable with the 3DS even though of your 3D hook, but I simply think most gamers are using their smartphones or iPod Touches for gaming out and about right now. This PSP2( ps3 dual shock wireless controller ) prototype is very much a wholly different beast compared to the PSP(ps3 dualshock wireless controller ) Phone that's also been rumored (and which might have got a better possibility of success if individuals are able to switch handsets to it). Unless the PSP2 possesses his own hook that we havenrrrt heard of yet, In my opinion, Sony will probably have trouble building an install base. I'd wish to be proven wrong, though. dual shock 3 wireless controller
