LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is based upon the well-chronicled Star Wars movie and animated series of the battle for the galaxy supremacy between the republic and the trade federation. A blockade of Naboo by the trade federation backfires and allows Senator Palatine to manipulate the events and rise to power. Little knew that Senator Palpatine was the evil Sith Lord; Darth Sidious whose plan is to wage war of domination through an army called the separatist that is challenged by the Jedi Counsel. The game combines the films and the animated series with an infusion of aspects that will cause joy from adult and children alike when playing. The graphics, big battles, new features and riveting sound effects makes this third sequel something that can't be missed. This game truly is at the top of the best Xbox family games.
The lego characters make this game extremely enticing for kids who are fans of legos. There are 20 story-based missions and 40 levels with new gaming mechanics for creating, controlling and exploring the galaxy. It is a humorous game that gives kids and adults a laugh while enjoying the game play and lego action. Here is a game that truly is fun for the entire family. Any family that wants to have true family gaming time cannot have a better experience than sitting with the kids and having fun with the Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
The disadvantages of this game are minimal. But can be from an adult perspective a bit corny with the lego type characters and their fighting styles. You also have to get past the games repetitive sound effects that are a bit loud and booming. However, the kids like these sounds, which are a popular part of the animated series. However, this is a small price to pay for a family game that is truly among the best Xbox family games. For the kids it is a disadvantage as it has too many features to get used to such as scene swap where the user can take control of multiple battles in different locations, but it does link up the animated series by incorporating the boss battles like with Gore and the zillo beast to even things out.
Both adults and kids will like the ability to jettison from their favorite ships, use the force and navigate through multiple layers of battles in different galaxies. There is also freedom to battle using the new dynamic moves so the adult can compete at their level and allow the kids to play at their level. The new lightsaber abilities and the ability to explore exotic locations in different ships in different star systems provide an educational aspect for the kids' curiosity for science. This is a must do for family gaming play time with one of the Best Xbox 360 Family Games on the market.
