The Spider-Man 3 movie was cool. Adding the enemy of Sand Man, and of course the best villain there is, Venom! In the movie, Spider-Man fights to save the say against both of these guys. What a shock, the plot is the same for the video game. The only difference is the movie was enjoyable and entertaining, the video game is boring, repetitive, predictable, and just your typical basic movie themed video game. Again like most other Spider-Man video games, you spend the whole game fighting the same 6 cookie cutter bad guys. Can we get a game with something original. A game that hasnt been done before.
The graphics for this game are ok. They are your basic everyday day game graphics you see everywhere. Nothing all that amazing or popping. The controls for this game are basic as well. Kick, punch, jump, and of course web swinging and shooting. Combo fighting is your best bet to win quickly.
The story or plot of the game that you get to play is cool. Only because I like the movie. There isnt much to the game to keep you playing after you beat the story. You can still run around the town and beat people up, do some races, or just swing around. The black suit is a nice touch.
My advice for you on this game is to rent the game first. You will spend less money to see if you will enjoy playing this game or not. At most stores you can buy the game for around 20 bucks. If you do buy the game chances are you will end up not playing it after awhile just like the rest of us. Sure Spider-Man 3 is a great movie to continue on the series. But like I said before, the movie is cool, the video game needs some work.
