For those people who were excited about the Spider-Man 2 movie, hold on to the excitement for the release of Spider-Man 2 the video game. The story of the game is based on the film. Of course youre the man in red, you get to run around the city fighting your basic low life criminals. Peter Parker, an intelligent student in high school, who was bitten by a radioactive spider. Peter quickly discovers that he is stronger and has super reflexes. Peter/Spider-Man takes to the town fighting crime and finding his way to save the day.The graphics for this game are pretty good. All of the these kinds of video games have basically the same graphic design. I dont think there is much you can change with the idea. Super hero runs around the town, from street to street looking for crime, and people that are in need of help. Good guy beat up the bad guys, end of story. The controls for the game are of course the same as the other games. Punch, kick, jump, swing, and of course you can never forget the webs. One of the cool things that you can do in this game is climb to the tallest building, jump off that super high building and web swing at the last second to save yourself from the certain death you would have if you didnt have those super powers.The game play has some pros and some cons. The bad thing is that the cons over does the pros. So wow great graphics and neat I can do this and that. One of the games cons of course the repeat of basic ideas. They give you five versions of the bad guys to fight and three colors of outfits for them. It might not seem like a big thing but try playing the game for a weeks and then see if it bothers you much.My over all view of the game is average. Cool idea for the movie and sure ok idea for a rip off for the game. But I suggest to rent that game or borrow it from someone. Chances are youll be bored to death with it.
